Select Board Receives FY27 Budget Contingent on March Override Vote — January 26 Meeting

Town Manager Jim Feeney presented a $237.9 million fiscal year 2027 budget that hinges on passage of a Proposition 2½ override scheduled for March 28. Without the override, Arlington faces a roughly $3 million deficit in FY27 and an $18.3 million shortfall in FY28, threatening deep cuts to police, fire, library, and public works services.
