Redevelopment Board Approves 840 Mass Ave Affordable Housing Project, Reviews Overlay District and Town Meeting Articles — March 9 Meeting

Arlington's Redevelopment Board voted 4-1 to approve a site plan for a 28-unit affordable housing building at 840-846 Mass Ave and a 12-unit building at 17 Newman Way, both proposed by the Housing Corporation of Arlington. The board also received its first detailed feedback session on the proposed Affordable Housing Overlay District and continued review of several warrant articles headed to 2026 Town Meeting.
